As an almost old lady, I have gained a bit of wisdom, even if most of my life I have been naive. With the help of Mike Malloy and Rachel Maddow, my education is now about as complete as it needs to be. If I seem jaded or pessimistic, it’s because I see the world as it is, not as we have been thinking all this time.
Writing is the one thing we can do, sort of a way to connect with each other while we can, and perhaps give each other heads up on the future of the planet.
